Cat5E/Cat6 Cable
Copper-Cat5E/Cat6

Cat5E and Cat6 cable are both forms of copper twisted pair cable. The 2 forms of twisted pair cable are UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) and STP (Shielded Twisted Pair, not Stone Temple Pilots), the difference is STP has a shield cable in addition to the 4 pairs of cables and it requires special connectors to accommodate the shield wire. If you want to learn more about Cat5E/Cat6 cable, such as it's speed, what is the max. distance, what is plenum vs. non-plenum, how to terminate it, etc. please click the button below. If you can use our Cat5E/Cat6 cabling services in the Reno, NV or Sparks, NV area, please to setup an appointment.

Fiber can also attain higher speeds than copper (with Cat8 being very close to it). Now if you have ever looked up fiber before, you would have discovered that there are so many options, from multi-mode to single-mode, what type of connectors, LC, SC, or ST, etc. You can learn more about the different types of fiber components from our fiber page using the button below. Various Network Racks
Network Racks

A clean and organized network rack is so critical in our modern world. All of our communications, voice and data, all run through the internet now, and all that equipment SHOULD be in a network rack. When something goes wrong, equipment and cables need to be properly labeled, so support technicians can be 100% sure of what they are handling. If you are in need of a new rack, or a replacement rack, we can assist. We can also clean up existing racks, and properly identify devices and cables and label them accordingly.
